Yurt Details:

The Earth Yurt has been designed to be as accessible as possible for everyone and provides enough space to sleep up to five people. With a double bed, double futon and a “z bed” this is a camping experience like no other.

Set in a beautiful and truly unique surrounding, the Earth Yurt has all the modern comforts that you need whilst still allowing for an authentic camping experience. A log burning stove means that even during those chilllier Scottish Highland nights you’ll be able to stay nice and warm.

Useful Information

All the facilities are linked together through a path which at night is illuminated. Guests are reminded that this is still a camping experience and as the Island is known for being “misty” it is advisable to ensure that you pack suitable clothing and footwear for the weather.

Some of the ground and slopes may be uneven although every effort is made to ensure that the facilities are as accessible as possible care should still be taken around the site

Surrounding Area

We are ideally located just a short distance from local amenities including a supermarket, petrol station, several hotels/restaurants, a local pub, shop and cafe.

Buses run along the main road but the Island is best explored through an independent mode of transport such as car, motorcycle or bicycle. There is also the ferry at Armadale and the Skye Bridge on;y 20 minutes away, most places on the Island are a pleasant day trip from here.

We will happily help you find your way around the Island and advise on trips and excursions to take – just drop us a message when booking your stay or find out more when you arrive!
